Cosmetic Laserbeam offers our Clients the tooth whitening gel, yt:). This product is a gloss you apply to your teeth at your discretion. You could perform an ‘express whitening’ by applying the gel every 15 minutes for two hours and then once every second day. Alternately you’ll notice whiter teeth by applying the gel three times a day for one week for a ‘paced application.’
Everyone’s teeth are different with varying degrees of staining. Our Clients generally notice results immediately after the express application or after three days on the paced approach. Yt:) whitening gel uses 9.5 per cent hydrogen peroxide as the active ingredient, with a non-acidic neutral PH so the gel won’t harm your teeth or the enamel.
The whitening treatment is completely safe, however some people experience temporary tooth sensitivity which usually only lasts for several days after the treatment. Other people may have non-specific sensitivity in their teeth, gums, tongue or throat. If you experience more severe symptoms, we recommend discontinuing the treatment. The gel will not harm your gums.
For best results we recommend you don’t smoke, drink coffee, red wine or tea within half-an-hour of applying the gel or before bed.
